【Feb. 2025 Kingfish Jigging in AUS by WiggleRider190g Scott Douglas】

We received a report from an Australian jigger “Scott Douglas” on his catches of Kingfish🇦🇺

He caught several good sized Kingfish on the WiggleRider!

Here is his fishing report.

Fishing report - Saturday 1st of February, new moon phase and the kingfish we’re biting, fishing a reefy structure in 60m -70m held many kingfish, landing a total of 8 fish all on jigs that day, the jigs used were wiggle rider 190gram orange stripe and a 120gram wiggle rider white stripe and sliver. The current was 1.5km and wind was 10knots so it was perfect for a 120-150gram size jig. These kingfish ate on an aggressive style of jig high pitch fast action.

Fishing report - Sunday 2 feb, again on the wiggle rider in nearly identical conditions with the weather being less windy at 5knots and and even less current, used a 190g to start with, and was not getting a bite on a fast action, I slowed the action down, to medium pace with a 1 second pause after ever 6-8 jerks and got bit twice immediately, later landing a 97cm kingfish
Used multiple brand jigs past kingfish session and the nature boys wiggle rider action and colour patterns are superb and entice fish to bite even less optimal conditions.
