熊本天草の通詞島・竜宝丸の木口船長より素晴らしいご報告をいただきました。

11月25日

当日、ガイドのご予約が無かったので新規ポイント開拓に兄弟船長と協力者（凄腕漁師）の3人で出港しました。カンパチはもちろんですが大型のベイトを釣るのが目的でした。

協力者がジギング初挑戦ということで、ビーストマスター2000ejを選択し、PE5号にリーダーは80ポンド

ロッドはアイアンウィル585BWでジグはディープローバーの310gアオムロ

気になっていたエリアを魚探の反応見ながらひたすら走り廻って、良さそうな反応にはジグを落としていきました。1流しずつでないと時間が足りないので急ぎ足でやっていましたが、次々とカンパチのエサになりそうな魚が釣れてくれます。

反応が良く、丁寧にやりたいポイントも取れて大満足していたのですが、最後に一箇所だけ他と質が違うポイントが見つかりました。3人で「ここは明らかに他と違う」「今日見つけた中でダントツだ！」最後だし丁寧にやってみようということなりました。

そして、3流し目

40m程誘った後のフォール中、何かがジグの近くに居るのが分かった協力者が着底を待たずに誘い始めて３シャクリ、竿が大きく曲がりました！

ファーストランのスピードはゆっくりなのですが、全く止まらない…海底まで20m程ありましたがどんどんラインが出されていきます。僕らもすぐサポートにまわりアドバイスしていました。15分程海底でのやり取りが続き、根ズレが心配でヒヤヒヤでしたが運良くフラットなエリアに泳いでくれて「あとは時間かけてあげよう」3人の意見は一致しました。それから海面に上がって来るまで20分程でしょうか、ゆっくり針外れの不安と闘いながらの落ち着かない時間でした！

なんせ初めての首振り、重量感なので途中「サメかな〜」「獲れなくても顔だけは見たいね」と話しながらも三人ともワクワクが止まりませんでした。

There were no reservations for a guide that day, so my brother captain and three of his collaborators (great fishermen) set sail to explore new points. The objective was to catch not only amberjack but also a large bait.

My cooperator was jigging for the first time, so he chose Beast Master 2000 ej with PE5 and 80-pound leader.

The rod is Iron Will 585BW and the jig is Deep Roaver's 310g Aomulo

We were running around the area we were interested in, watching the response of the fish finder, and dropping a jig when the response was good.

At the end of the day, we found a point with a different quality from the others, and we all said, "This point is obviously different from the others" and "This is the best one we found today! It was the last time, so we decided to do it carefully.

And the third sink.

During the fall after 40 meters of luring, a cooperator saw that something was near the jig and began to lure it without waiting for it to land, and three clicks later, the rod bent wide!

The speed of the first run was slow, but it didn't stop at all... There was about 20 meters to the seabed, but the line was being sent out more and more. After about 15 minutes of exchanges on the seabed, we were worried about the slippage, and we were feeling a bit nervous, but luckily the fish swam to the flat area and we all agreed that we would have to take our time. After that, it took about 20 minutes for them to come to the surface, and it was a restless time, fighting the anxiety of being off the hook slowly!

It was the first time for me to shake my head, and it was so heavy, I wondered if it was a shark, and said, "Even if I don't catch it, I want to see its face," but all three of us couldn't stop being excited.
